LyNN

LYNN, North Vancouver BC

You need to enjoy the rain to live in the Pacific Northwest. So that morning, I drove to the North shores of Vancouver and hiked a portion of the wet trail that follows Lynn River. The idea was to see how the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro performed in the wet and cold environments of the Pacific rainforest.

I had just received the camera, forgot the base ISO was 400 and thought it was the more common 800. Despite this, I was still impressed by this camera's dynamic range, especially in a shaded environment with the shadows of the woods and the highlights filtering through the branches.

Shot in December 2021.
