  • The Osee T5+ is a practical, compact, and affordable field monitor. It provides a larger, brighter viewing surface than the camera screen, which is especially useful for mirrorless rigs. The 1000-nit screen is bright enough in most situations, and the built-in monitoring tools make it much easier to judge exposure, focus, and colour on a small cinema setup.

    The Good:

    • Bright 1000-nit screen.

    • Compact 5.5-inch size.

    • Excellent value compared with many field monitors.

    • Helps with framing and focus.

    • Can be powered with Sony NP batteries, Canon LP batteries, or USB-C PD.

    The Bad:

    • Not as premium as higher-end monitors.

    • Needs a rain cover, otherwise it might get damaged in wet conditions.

    • The single toggle button is cumbersome and not practical for digging through menus.

    • Menus could be better designed.

    • Get it if you want an affordable and bright external monitor.
