  • The Nikon MD-4 Motor Drive turns the F3 into a “much more serious”, pro-style film body. At least this was the initial goal back in 1980. It adds bulk and weight, but it also makes the camera feel faster and more purposeful, especially when shooting sequences with a whopping 6 frames per second. That sounds like nothing until ten seconds later you are out of film… But at least it rewinds it automatically!
