Stoechades is a return to the Mediterranean coast I have known since childhood: La Presqu’île de Giens, Porquerolles, and Port-Cros. Far from the polished excess of the Riviera, these islands and shores hold something quieter and more enduring: the taste of salted air, the scent of eucalyptus, and the song of cicadas. Here, the cobalt blue of the Mediterranean meets golden shores.
The Greeks called them Stoechades; today, we call them Les Îles d’Or.
